LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

What is concierge therapy?

Concierge therapy involves mental health services intentionally offered on a small scale. This type of therapy centers on individualized, client-centered, approaches to mental healthcare.

This type of therapy is not, in itself, an evidence-based practice. I still use science-based methods of treatment, such as CBT.

You will have access to Telehealth services online and through messaging while simultaneously being able to access your billing, scheduling, and assessment tools online.

INSURANCE

Mental health providers that offer concierge counseling generally do not accept insurance as a way to eliminate barriers to services; however I am still accepting United Healthcare and Aetna at this time. I collaborate with an experienced insurance specialist who checks your eligibility and benefits upfront and throughout the process so there are no out-of-pocket financial surprises. This is a complimentary service provided just for you and your specific plan.

PERSONALIZED SERVICE

Providers who offer concierge therapy usually accept only a few patients at a time in order to remain available and open to each client throughout the healing process. For example, if you are going through a particularly difficult moment or situation, you can text me right in that moment rather than having to wait until your next scheduled visit for help and attention.

Over the last 20 years working in various settings as a counselor, I have found that personalized service gets the best results. This is why I have chosen concierge therapy for my private practice. I prefer working with fewer clients to be able to provide higher quality and more individualized care. I am committed to your recovery and am honored to be able to help people heal and live happier, healthier lives.
